Pearls

Coming mainly from the lakes and rivers of Southeast Asia, their range of colors is very varied, ranging from white, cream, champagne tones to mauve or even dark blue. Freshwater cultured pearls develop and are born in molluscs called mussels, after these have been grafted by humans.

Tahitian Pearls come from the mother-of-pearl secretions of a very special species of oyster, Pinctada margaritifera, which delights in the warm waters of Polynesia. These offer a kaleidoscope of colors such as black, green, purple, blue, gray, brown and more rarely silver, gold or white.Elegance and beauty of French Polynesia, the Tahitian pearl is a real treasure, unique and authentic.

Mother-of-pearl is the basic substance secreted by molluscs and in particular oysters to form the inside of their shells. Mother-of-pearl pearls are made by man from the mother-of-pearl of these molluscs which is first reduced to powder. to be then reworked The material therefore remains natural although they are shaped in the factory.

Silver

925 silver (also called Sterling Silver) contains at least 92.5% silver, supplemented by 7.5% of other metals, most often copper.Pure silver being very malleable, it is this alloy of silver and copper that gives the material the robustness necessary for making jewelry. The metal alloy used in Beblue jewelry also includes a tarnish retarding agent.

It is a 925 silver jewel plated with a thin layer of rhodium. This type of alloy gives the jewel a brighter shine and slows down the natural oxidation of silver since it protects it from the chemical agents responsible for its blackening.

Gold & Rose Gold

A vermeil jewel is a 925 silver jewel on which is applied a layer of gold at least 5 micrometers thick. It is therefore entirely made from these two precious metals.

Gold filled is a thick layer of 14k gold applied to a brass or copper base.In order to qualify as "gold filled", the weight of gold in the final jewel must be equivalent to one-twentieth of its total weight.Compared to a piece of gold-plated jewelry, it's simply fifty to a hundred times more gold.We then understand that gold filled jewelry is more resistant than classic gilding.

fine stones

Swarovski crystal has become an essential element of international design and is currently positioned as the world leader in crystal. Since 1965 the company has entered the service of fine jewelry by supplying original precious stones and crystals cut with great precision.
